Genesis 1
Note: I will be using the New Living Translation for my observations on my journey through the Bible.
v. 2 "And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters'"
So amazing that God choose to create earth first. His Spirit was hovering over the earth. To me that translates to: he wanted to linger or hang out around the earth. He liked it. He was interested in investing in it.
v.3 God created the earth and He "saw that it was good."
He liked what he had made. Then he kept on going with his handiwork. He started with earth, and then he added the sun and moon, stars- universe. Wow! He started with the earth in all the universe! We are not by chance, we are not an after thought, we are not just another of the same in a vast universe. No! God started with EARTH! Now that should be enough to convince us that we are so very special and infinitely chosen!
Louie Giglio has an incredible video about the vastness of the universe:

All through out Chapter 1: "and that is what happen."
Not something to be argued or figured out scientifically to be true; He just said it and it happened! Not debatable-just needs to be accepted and believed! We are way too finite to understand this, and just because we do not understand does not give us the right to say it is not so. Although I know, if we were smart enough, it could be figured out scientifically.
v. 21 "Each producing offspring of the SAME kind." [emphasis added]
No room for me coming from a monkey here!
v. 22 "Be fruitful and multiply." He created it, then gave "it" the ability to keep on reproducing. That's so smart! Macro-management at it's finest!
