Genesis 1 Note: I will be using the New Living Translation for my observations on my journey through the Bible. v. 2 "And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters'" So amazing that God choose to create earth first. His Spirit was hovering over the earth. To me that translates to: he wanted to linger or hang out around the earth. He liked it. He was interested in investing in it. v.3 God created the earth and He "saw that it was good." He liked what he had made. Then he kept on going with his handiwork. He started with earth, and then he added the sun and moon, stars- universe. Wow! He started with the earth in all the universe! We are not by chance, we are not an after thought, we are not just another of the same in a vast universe. No! God started with EARTH! Welcome to my journey through the Bible. My intention here is to simply journal my observations on my journey. These observations are of my God and Savior. If I am to fully access the power of God given to me as a child of God, I need to understand who I am in Christ.
